The Brewery District is a Columbus, Ohio, neighborhood located just south of the central business district near German Village. The area has a history stretching nearly 200 years. It is bounded by Interstate 70 on the north, South Pearl Street on the east, Greenlawn Avenue on the south, and the Scioto River on the west.

Any improvement that is outside of your unit, or is a permanent change visible from the outside of your unit MUST receive board approval because that change can be made. This includes:
Paint Colors: Front doors, patios and garage doors have specific Sherwin Williams colors that are pre-approved. These are on file with the Sherwin Williams in the Brewery District or can be requested from SBS
Garage Doors: SBS has a pre-approved garage door style on file that they can also provide for you.

Need to report a maintenance issue within our community or inside your unit? Our association works with a third party management firm, SBS management. SBS can work with the board to respond to common areas maintenance requests. If your request is for something not covered by the association (for example replacing a hard to reach smoke detector) they can work with you to determine what the cost may be and schedule the work with you.

If you want to report a violation of the association’s rules please send us a note using the complaint form on the SBS website. SBS will share this with the Brewer’s Gate association board members and respond to your request.
